Invictus Entertainment Group and Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading Music Company are proud to announce the launch of Canada’s newest music label.
Big Star Recordings provides a unique experience for artists, providing the clout of a major label with the one-on-one attention of an independent.
The idea came to IEG president, Jim Cressman, after working closely with several major labels on behalf of artists and realizing that an independent record company working in tandem with the distributor would be an asset. With so much competition in the industry today, to join forces made a lot of sense and would provide additional services to the artist.
"Big Star Recordings gives me the best of both worlds. All the distribution and promotional muscle of Universal with the boutique day to day interface that I am used to with my manager, Jim Cressman"
